Two main sources of data generation are Internal & External sources. The Internal source allows access to in-house available data for that organization. This access to the internal data helps the organization in many different ways, successfully supporting the decision making process. This allows the scope for an organization to develop a sort of support system in the organization, enabling the organization in taking the right time effective decisions. Ultimately, enhancing the efficiency of the organization by and large.
A. Select an organization of your choice, the one engaged in the process of acquiring data from its internal source – Discuss the source of that data and align it to the application in at least three different functioning departments of that organization. (50 marks).
Note: Student has to link the use/application of the internal data with respect to the selected company/organization and the functions within.
