Your Task. Assume that you work for a company like the ones described in Activity 3.22 and that you believe your organization would be better if it were more diverse. Because of your interest in this area, your boss says he would like you to give a three- to five-minute informational presentation at the next board meeting. Your assignment is to present what the leading minority-friendly companies are doing. You decide to prepare your comments based on Fortune magazine’s list of the 50 best companies for minorities, using as your outline the previous bulleted list. You plan to provide examples of each means of fostering diversity. Your instructor may ask you to give your presentation to the entire class or to small groups.
